Spotify may be the most popular paid music streaming service on the planet right now but Apple Music is hot on its heels. No other paid music streaming service has come close to Spotify's lead other than Apple Music and it looks to be in a position to eventually match and even overtake Spotify. The company obviously won't just sit idly by and watch that happen so it's making its own moves to counter Apple, one of those moves involves bringing over the hip-hop and R&B curator for Apple Music over to Spotify.

Your Apple News app may soon get a paid-subscription makeover, as Apple plans to integrate what's been called 'the Netflix of magazines' to the currently free service. Texture, an app that charges $9.99 a month for unlimited access to 200 magazine titles, is being shoehorned into a future version of Apple News, according to Bloomberg. This ties into expectations of an upgraded Apple News experience within the next year and Apple's lofty goal of increasing profits of its services division by 60% by 2021.

Apple's ambitions for Texture , the "Netflix of magazines" app that it acquired last month, are slowly coming into the light. According to a Bloomberg report , Apple plans on integrating the Texture magazine app into Apple News and debuting its own "premium subscription" within the next year.
