Halide Camera Update Brings an Apple Watch App and More

One of the best third-party camera apps available, Halide Camera , has added a number of new features in the move to version 1.8.
Easily the biggest addition to the app is a new companion title for the Apple Watch. On the wearable device, photographers can now frame shots, trigger the Halide Camera shutter, and even set timers.
If you don't have an Apple Watch, there's no need to worry. Users can now set a timer of 3, 10, or 30 seconds. When active, you'll see a countdown in the icon and the shuttle button as well. You can also see the timer countdown via the iPhone flash.

Popular note-taking and writing app Bear has just been updated to version 1.5 with a host of new features.
First up, users can now select their own TagCon for any and all tags. The small icons appear in popular tags in the app's sidebar. There are 169 TagCons to select from.
Instead of having to completely delete notes, the new archive feature will remove notes from the Notes List. But they will still be searchable in the new Archive section in the sidebar.

Apple today updated its Swift Playgrounds app to version 2.1, introducing new features to the iPad coding app designed to teach children and adults to code through several interactive "Learn to Code" lessons.
The updated app includes a new "What's Next" feature that offers up other playground suggestions to try based on current progress in the Swift Playgrounds app, providing users with a clearer path for learning new coding skills.
