In-app purchases coming soon to Facebook Instant Games

Facebook will soon allow developers to add in-app purchases to their Instant Games, the company announced during a session on gaming at its F8 developer conference. Originally launched in 2016, Facebook Instant Games is a platform that allows developers to create casual, mobile-friendly games that seamlessly play across both the web and mobile versions of Facebook Messenger.

Instagram announced at F8, the Facebook annual developer conference, new changes to its app that are meant to improve the user experience. Aside from new ways to share Stories, Instagram introduces the ability to design camera effects, video chats, and a redesigned Explore tab.
Starting with the latest version of Instagram, users will be able to directly to Stories from other apps like Spotify and GoPro. You'll be able to share a sticker of your favorite song on Spotify or action shots from GoPro, but more apps will be added to the sharing to Stories feature in the future.

Facebook Instant Games To Soon Introduce In-App Purchases

Facebook's Instant Games platform will soon receive support for in-app purchases, allowing developers to advertise their creations in a more aggressive manner, the company said Tuesday. The Menlo Park, California-based social media giant took to its annual F8 developer conference to announce the highly requested feature is now technically already available for use, though developers will still be expected to submit their proposed implementations directly to the firm.
