It was reported yesterday that there's an unannounced “Usage Insights” feature in Instagram's Android app which will enable users to keep track of the time that they spend on the social network. Instagram initially said that it had nothing to announce at this point in time but the Facebook-owned company's CEO has now confirmed that Instagram is indeed developing this Usage Insights feature to give users a more in-depth look at their Instagram usage statistics.

Instagram's Chief Executive Officer , Kevin Systrom, has confirmed via his Twitter account that the photo and video-sharing social networking service is working on a new feature that will let users know the length of time they spend using the app. The upcoming feature was first spotted via code hidden within Instagram's Android application package , revealing a new functionality that will be called “Usage Insights.”
