Latest Twitter For iOS Update Makes Follower Counts Less Prominent

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey recently said that users shouldn't be obsessing over the number of followers that they have on Twitter. He said that while users might have been incentivized to increase that number when Twitter was in its early days, “I don't think it is right today.” Dorsey added that the number of meaningful conversations that users have on the platform are more important. To that end, Twitter has launched an updated iOS app which makes follower counts less prominent.
