Twitter Lite Expanded To 21 Additional Countries

Twitter Lite, the lightweight version of the microblogging network's app, has only been released in a handful of markets since its launch. The app is very useful in markets where most users don't have high-end smartphones or where mobile data tends to be too costly. Twitter has confirmed that it's now expanding Twitter Lite to 21 additional countries.
Twitter Lite is a watered down version of the full app and consequently takes up far less space than the main app. The install size of Twitter Lite is around 3MB. It's actually a progressive web app which is more similar to a mobile website...

Twitter Lite has just received a new update, and it has pushed the app to version 2.0. This application was originally released at the end of last year, as a lighter version of the original Twitter app, and since then, it has seen a few updates pushed its way, but not a single one of them was as significant as this one. In the official changelog, Twitter not only listed changes that have arrived with version 2.0, but has also mentioned that the Twitter Lite app is now available in 46 countries.
