Sony Confirms Development of Next Generation Console

You may have heard several rumors circulating that Sony is currently planning for its next generation of consoles. Per reports across the gaming industry, it seems the company is well in the process already; the higher-ups at Sony seem to have come to the realization it's not only time for them to develop a new platform with stronger hardware - but it's required.
Kenichiiro Yoshida, Sony's President and CEO, recently did an interview with the Financial Times and shared that, "At this point, what I can say is it's necessary to have a next-generation hardware."
