Intel's first Universal Windows Driver bolsters support for auto-tuning graphics settings

Intel has released new Universal Windows Driver graphics drivers for Windows 10 - also known as Windows Modern drivers - with some nifty features including support for a couple of new games, and further support for the automatic tuning of game settings for a number of older titles. This is the first such driver to be delivered by Intel, and the fact that this is labelled a universal driver simply means that it works across all device types, similar to how universal apps run across all devices. Chinese phone maker Nubia, which can trace its roots back to ZTE, has just announced a new gaming phone in its Red Magic lineup geared towards avid gamers. The new Nubia Red Magic Mars device boasts the same signature design that debuted with the first Red Magic that we played with at last year's IFA trade show. This means you get a camouflage paint job and a RGB LED strip at the back of the phone, both of which are telltale aspects of any self-respecting gaming gear.
