Oculus Go now available in Canada, Europe and UK

Oculus' standalone VR headset, the Oculus Go , is now available for purchase online or in store across Canada and a range of European territories. The Oculus Go was previously only available in the United States, after an initial soft launch on May 1 this year. The wider release brings it to another 10 nations, across a total of over 300 stores worldwide.

Oculus Go VR Headset Starts Retailing in Europe, Canada

Oculus Go has landed in more than 300 retail stores across Canada and Europe at £199, or €219. This makes the standalone virtual reality headset from the Facebook-owned company available on a global level via brick-and-mortar locations and not just the firm's own online storefront.

Oculus Go owner and Reddit user CidVonHighwind recently took to the popular online service to reveal and share a GitHub project revolving around a Game Boy emulator designed for the new VR headset from Facebook's subsidiary.
