Alien: Isolation finally gets a sequel - but it's on mobile

Fans of the Alien franchise may have been wondering why a series of terrifying motion posters appearing on the anthology's Instagram account last month, and now we know the reason: a new game, Alien: Blackout is on the way - but it's not coming to consoles. Instead, the game is a mobile title for iOS, and it follows protagonist Amanda Ripley (the daughter of the original film's protagonist, Ellen Ripley). After a trademark filing last year and some teases last week, many fans of the Alien franchise were getting excited for a potential new release in the survival horror series. Alien: Isolation is beloved by many in the genre for the atmosphere it had during gameplay and a lot more that appealed to horror fans. ‘PUBG Mobile' Is Getting a PvE Monster Battling Mode for the Chinese New Year?

While PUBG on PC and consoles is still a fairly serious game, it'd seem on mobile that these kind of battle royale titles are all about retaining players via all sorts of zany additions, new arcade modes, and more. The PUBG Mobile YouTube rumor mill is on fire this morning with what seems to be a new PvE mode being added, in the Chinese client, for the upcoming Chinese New Year. In this mode, by activating statues place around the map, players let loose on a variety of different monsters who then explode like loot piñatas. Makes sense, right?
