Blizzard's Hearthstone Now Boasts More Than 100 Million Players

One of the benefits of releasing a game that is free-to-play and available across multiple platforms is that it is a good strategy to try and recruit as many players as possible. Blizzard's Hearthstone seems to have done just that because according to Blizzard, they have confirmed that the game is now boasting more than 100 million players. The game was released back in 2014 and was Blizzard's attempt at creating a free-to-play digital CCG featuring characters and lore from the Warcraft franchise.
