Valve Has Quietly Discontinued Its Steam Link Device

Valve launched its Steam Link device several years ago and unfortunately it looks like the device has since been discontinued. However for those who still own the device, Valve has announced that they will continue to support it (although exactly how long they plan to do so is unclear). In a post on the Steam Community website, Valve writes, “The supply of physical Steam Link hardware devices is sold out in Europe and almost sold out in the US. Valve's nifty little Steam Link box has run out of, er, steam, with the company announcing that it's discontinuing the gadget, with stock now sold out in Europe, and almost gone in the US too. Steam Link facilitates streaming games from a PC to the TV in the living room, with the box hooking up to the home network via either an Ethernet cable or wirelessly (and allowing various controllers, such as gamepads or indeed a mouse and keyboard, to be connected).
