North Carolina's iPad Buy for Schools is a Good Model for Apple in Education Going Forward

When Apple had their education event earlier in the year, the new iPad drew solid reviews and the education initiatives were seen as a step in the right direction. However, there also was widespread belief that they wouldn't be enough to stem the tide of Google's Chromebooks in the education market. The low cost devices and easy to use tools are a lot to overcome when you are talking about public school systems with tight budgets.
