The smartphone has pretty much killed off the point and shoot camera at this point, and for many good reasons. They are always with us and always connected. They also have an infinitely better user interface than any camera, and they have far superior on-board editing option. However, there is one area where the old point and shoot still has an edge- ergonomics.
