Consumer Cellular May Surpass 3 Million Customers In 2018

At the current rate of growth, Consumer Cellular expects to surpass 3 million customers at some point in 2018. That's based on a long-running trend with the company's growth records over the past several years, beginning in at least 2016. Although not explosive, the United States' second-largest mobile virtual network operator has seen consistent and steady increases since then. From 2.1 million customers in 2016, Consumer Cellular reported 2.5 million customers in 2017, followed by a further increase to 2.75 million as of May.
