California To Make Net Neutrality Bill Decision On April 17

The state of California recently saw Senator Scott Weiner introduce the most powerful and far-reaching state-level Net Neutrality bill seen in the United States since the repeal of Federal Title II Net Neutrality regulations by the FCC, SB 822, and it has now been announced that state lawmakers will be making an initial decision on the bill on April 17. There will be a committee hearing on that date to determine whether the bill will be advanced for consideration to pass into law, or if it will be scrapped.
