AT&T's MVNO subsidiary Cricket Wireless is now offering the LG Fortune 2, a new Android smartphone priced at $99, the company said Friday. While the handset itself is an entry-level affair, the wireless carrier insists it delivers a variety of “premium features,” pointing to options such as its support for LG's Knock On solution that allows you to wake up the phone with a tap on its screen and glance at notifications before putting it back to sleep with an identical gesture. Pixel and Nexus phones have gained Android Auto Wireless support as Google has officially confirmed that a number of the devices in those device lineups will now be able to connect to Android Auto in the vehicle without having to plug the phone in using the compatible USB cable.
