Huawei doesn't appear to be done with its attacks on Apple, as the Chinese phone maker pulled separate public relations stunts in multiple locations. Huawei trolled Apple by interrupting the iPhone XS and XS Max's official release by sending a message about the devices' battery life - or lack thereof.

As customers around the world begin to receive their iPhone XS and Apple Watch Series 4 orders today, Apple is also celebrating a launch day for its largest product: retail stores. Apple Suzhou , the company's 505th store, opened its doors for the first time overnight in China to an enthusiastic crowd. Fans lined up not only to get their hands on the latest iPhones, but to be among the first to explore the massive new store. In the United States, Victor, New York customers were similarly treated to an admittedly more modest store at the Eastview Mall .

Apple Stores Delay Some iPhone XS and XS Max Pickup Orders Due to 'Last Minute Logistical Issues'

Apple has emailed some customers who had an iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max scheduled for in-store pickup at an Apple Store today. The email says their orders "will not be ready for pickup" during their specified check-in time due to "last minute logistical issues," according to several MacRumors readers.
As a fluid situation, it's unclear how many customers are affected, how long orders may be delayed, or what the logistical issues are. We reached out to Apple for clarification, but didn't receive any new information to share.
