Apple said to cut orders for 2018 models, increase orders for iPhone 8/8 Plus and others

According to StreetAccount, a couple of securities firms are fine-tuning their thoughts on what is going on currently with the Apple iPhone. Longbow Research has apparently conducted a check of Apple's iPhone supply chain and concludes that Apple is cutting its orders by 20% to 30% for the iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. On the other hand, Longbow says that Apple is increasing orders for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and some other older models.

If you've had problems with the touch responsiveness of your iPhone X's display, you may be in luck. According to a support document , Apple identified a problem with some iPhone X devices that may cause a component of the display module to fail. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo published a new report over the weekend, related to the introduction of new antenna technology that could be coming in next year's iPhone lineup. According to the analyst, Modified PI will replace Liquid Crystal Polymer to become the mainstream antenna technology for the 2019 iPhones , but LCP will still be found in the smartphones.
Kuo says that complicated production processes of LCP and Apple's lower bargaining power against LCP material suppliers will contribute to this change. LCP is also said to be more brittle and as such unfavorable for module production...
