It seems like Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is right around the corner, as a variant of the phone with Android 8.0 Oreo has been certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance. The Samsung SM-N950F/DS, which is a dual SIM variant of the Galaxy Note 8 , has appeared on Wi-Fi Alliance, as you can see in the provided image down below. The phone got certified yesterday, so this listing is basically brand new.

The Android Oreo rollout for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ has been postponed due to unexpected reboots on some units, but hopefully the Oreo update for the Galaxy Note 8 could is not being postponed. Actually, a SM-N950F device which is nothing else but the Note 8, has been just recently spotted making rounds on the Wi-Fi Alliance with Android 8.0 on board.
As all major software updates have to receive a new Wi-Fi certification in order to be officially released to end-users, this could be a very strong indication that Oreo is indeed just around the corner for the sleek phablet.
