Google is doing wonders when it comes to the coverage of its mobile payment service, Android Pay, in the United States. If you've been following our reports, then you already know Android Pay supports hundreds of banks in the US and more are expected to get the same treatment in the not so distant future.

Despite the fact that LG said it will lay low for a while when it comes to smartphones, the South Korean company continues to introduce new products. However, it's almost certain that we won't be seeing another LG flagship for at least a few months.
That being said, it looks like LG has just introduced a middle-class smartphone on its home turf: the X4+. The smartphone will be available for purchase at all three major carriers in the country for about $280 outright.

Full list of 80 new banks and credit unions now supporting Android Pay

If Android Pay hopes to become the de facto method for mobile payments, they're going to need more banks to support it. Google knows this and it's way they continue to bring more banks into the fold.
In fact, the Android Pay support page has been updated with 80 new banks and credit unions. If you previously couldn't use the service because your bank/credit union wasn't supported, now would be a good time to check again. Here's the full list which now includes well over 1,000 banking institutions in the US.
