Waze Is Now Available For CarPlay

Image credit - 9to5Mac With the release of iOS 12, Apple opened up CarPlay to more third-party navigation apps, meaning that users who didn't want to use Apple Maps would now have more options, as long as developers decided to support CarPlay. Last week Google made Google Maps compatible with CarPlay, and now it looks like Waze is next. If Waze is more your jam in terms of navigation apps, then you might want to update to the latest version of the app because it will now support CarPlay. Given that Waze is owned by Google, we can't say we're too surprised that support is finally here...

Apple's trackpad mode is a great way to make corrections when you're editing text on your iOS device. It allows the user to turn the virtual QWERTY on his iPhone into a trackpad that can be used for more precise placement of the cursor on the screen. Up until now, this feature was available only on iOS devices that had 3D Touch, which meant that all iPads and iPod touch models could not use it. That is, until iOS 12 was launched.
