Samsung Compares Galaxy S9 to Very Slow iPhone 6 in Frivolous Ad

3 days ago   |   By Mac Rumors

Samsung has released a new ad encouraging iPhone users to upgrade to the Galaxy S9, but there are several holes in the video.
First and foremost, instead of comparing the two-month-old Galaxy S9 to the iPhone X, or even the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus, the one-minute clip shows a woman becoming increasingly frustrated with her seemingly glacially slow iPhone 6, released in 2014, as she travels by plane to visit her sister.
Samsung acknowledges this fact with fine print that says "newer iPhone models are currently available," but that doesn't stop it from comparing its 2018 flagship with a...

Samsung's new Galaxy S9 ad pokes fun of Apple for iPhone 'battery gate'

Samsung's new Galaxy S9 ad pokes fun of Apple for iPhone 'battery gate'

3 days ago   |   By Tech Radar

Samsung wants iPhone fans irritated by the poor performance of their older Apple devices to upgrade to a supposedly problem-free Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus. Battery gate is the butt of the joke this time, depicting a woman struggling to cope with a severely slowed down iPhone 6 while observing care-free Galaxy owners. Apple was confirmed to be slowing down older iPhones in an effort to avoid rapid battery depletion and...

Latest Samsung Galaxy S9 video ad throws a barrage of jabs at Apple's old and new iPhones

3 days ago   |   By Phone Arena

Samsung has never been afraid to take jabs at Apple, but its latest video ad for the Galaxy S9 can be safely presumed a clear declaration of war.
The spot called "Moving On" depicts the daily struggles of a woman struggling with her dated Phone 6. Slowdowns, no waterproofing, and general software inconsistency are a couple of the maladies that seemingly hurt the poor damsel in distress.
The video ad culminates when the device gets taken to an Apple Store, where an Apple Genius inquires the woman if she has been thinking of upgrading to the ...
