OnePlus pulls Open Betas for a number of handsets

Four OnePlus Open Betas have been pulled after a number of users complained about high levels of battery drain with the latest, non-final software update. Open Betas allow users to try out new features before they're officially launched, and while the builds are generally stable it appears that the latest round of updates from OnePlus aren't as stable as expected. According to users on the OnePlus forum , the latest Open Betas for the OnePlus 5T , OnePlus 5 , OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3 are draining the battery to excessive levels.

A new update to Samsung's Gear S3 smartwatch aims to improve its battery life on a day-to-day basis when you're wearing the watch. Rolling out now in the US, Canada and South Korea (with more markets to follow, but we don't know when) the latest update doesn't bring any specific features but aims to improve how long the watch will last from a single charge. The update is called R760XXU2CRC3 and you'll be able to see if it's available on your watch within the Samsung Gear app on your phone.
