Google Pixel sales still no match for iPhone, Galaxy S series

3 monthes ago   |   By Beta News

Google has high hopes for the Pixel line. Its smartphones compete against the best the market has to offer, featuring cutting-edge hardware, vanilla Android and, unlike many of its droid-toting siblings, three years of support. But consumers aren't enamored with them. According to IDC, Google shipped 3.9 million Pixel smartphones last year, which is not a whole lot when you consider just how many tens of million of units the big players ship in a single quarter. Samsung Galaxy S9 said to offer dual speakers and Animoji-like feature

Samsung Galaxy S9 said to offer dual speakers and Animoji-like feature

3 monthes ago   |   By Tech Radar

The Samsung Galaxy S9 may not look very different from last year's phone, but it'll at least sound a lot better, according to the latest leak ahead of its February 25 unveiling. It'll include stereo speakers, reports ETNews , a change that will allow the phone to compete with the LG V30S that's also rumored to be getting stereo speaker treatment. Given the rather ho-hum sound quality that came out of the Galaxy S8 's sole bottom-firing speaker, this is a key area in which Samsung can improve upon last year's best smartphone. This is especially important in 2018, as new competitors like the...
