Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus Getting October 2017 Security Update

The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is now getting an update that will install the October 2017 Android security patch and a number of software improvements. The October 2017 security update resolves a number of vulnerabilities including several critical security issues found in the media framework of the Android operating system, as well as a remote code execution vulnerability. Also included with this software upgrade are improvements to the stability of the handset's launcher and DeX Mode.
