Adobe Scan Android app can now scan business cards to contacts with 99% accuracy

Sharing contacts between phones doesn't yet seem to have taken over from handing out business cards, but if you want to keep things paperless there are a number of apps that allow you to scan a card and save it to your contacts.
Most require some kind of manual edit, however, particularly when it comes to getting information into the correct fields - a problem Adobe claims to have solved with the latest version of its Android Adobe Scan app...

Google has updated its data-saving app Datally with several new features, including the ability to limit how much data your friends and family can use when they borrow your phone. No more sneaky streaming sessions gobbling up your allowance without your permission. You can also set daily usage limits, helping you portion out your data throughout the month so you don't run out partway through, and Google will soon add warnings so you know when it's time to start cutting back on the video calls. Adobe Scan App's Latest AI Feature Converts Business Cards into Phone Contacts

Adobe Scan , Adobe's document scanning app, was updated today with a new feature that lets users capture business cards and convert them into phone contacts.
AI enhancements courtesy of Adobe's Sensei machine learning platform enable the app to recognize a business card when placed in view of the phone's built-in camera. Once the card is recognized, the app presents a "Save Contact" button to the user.
