Many Samsung Gear wearables are incompatible with Android Pie phones

Just like Wear OS smartwatches, Samsung's Tizen-powered Gear wearables are technically compatible with both Android handsets and iPhones. But although the combination of a Gear S3 and iPhone X, for instance, is typically not ideal, the two will still work together better than Samsung's watches currently function when connected to certain Android phones.
