Samsung has announced that it plans to source the energy requirements of its factories and other facilities in the United States, South Korea, and China from renewable energy sources by 2020. To achieve its goal, the tech giant will install additional solar panels in its facilities in South Korea. The tech firm aims to install a total of 63,000 square meters of solar panels across three locations within the next few years. Samsung joins the list of major tech companies who have made a commitment to use 100 percent renewable energy.
