Judge Lucy Koh Subjects Yahoo To Full Brunt Of Lawsuits

Verizon subsidiary Yahoo will have to face all of the lawsuits against it as a result of its handling of recently revealed data breaches, according to District Judge Lucy Koh , who denied a motion by Verizon that would have seen a large number of the claims against Yahoo, such as breach of contract and negligence, dropped outright. The most recent revelation brought to light that all 3 billion Yahoo users were affected by one of the breaches that took place in 2013.
